An annual or perennial plant, about 50 cm tall. the stem is quadrangular, erect and branched in the upper part. The leaves are opposite, oblong and hairy, split into three parts, pointed at the top. The flowers are small, pale pink, located at the top of the twigs. It blooms throughout the summer. It tastes bitter.
It is used against neuralgia, migraine, back pain, sciatica in rheumatism. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended. It is good against fatigue, exhaustion and depression. Chewing fresh yarrow helps with gingivitis and swelling in the mouth.
It is collected during the summer, in bloom, without roots and lower part of the stem. It binds in bundles and dries abruptly in the air.
